I have been taking pictures of people for over two decades. Beginning with the occasional family photo, I progressed on to many other types of portraiture. I expanded my techniques and honed in on what works for a particular situation. Using elements like the environment, lighting and color, I enjoy composing the stories you would like to share.

Putting your best face forward:

Often, when I'm asked to take pictures of people, I find there are four categories that they fall under. Each have their particular nuances that distinguish themselves from each other. I can help navigate the challenges that come with each of these and adapt to maximize a successful shoot. From the serious corporate headshot to the frenetic family photographs to events and the fun senior moments. I love working with you to achieve the result you want.

What are some of my favorite locations to shoot?: Please refer to my Location List PDF.
What should I wear?: Please avoid red as it will add pounds to the subject. I also encourage folks to stick with solid colors as patterns can be distracting especially with couples or groups. Ultimately, these are your images. Think about where you will be sharing them: social media, prints on your walls, holiday cards or anything else that strikes your fancy. If you still have questions, call or text me to discuss further.
What is your cancellation policy?: Since a deposit is required to book a portrait session, that deposit can be applied to a future date and time. However, if you elect not to book again, you will forfeit your deposit.
Do you charge more per person?: No, I only charge my time. This applies to doing multiple corporate headshots or large family photos. I will bill for the time it takes to set up (if required) and shoot. Once we are packed up and ready to leave, the clock stops.
When is the payment due?: To book a portrait session my clients are required to place a 50% deposit of the desired time on the day of booking and the remaining balance is expected the day of the shoot.
